Molly Chambers: Bridging Art, Community, and Conscious Living with the Art of Ayurveda series.

In a world where art often feels exclusive or disconnected from everyday life, UK-based artist and educator Molly Chambers stands out by making creativity accessible, meaningful, and deeply communal. With a passion for murals, workshops, and counter-cultural learning, Molly’s work transcends traditional art spaces, bringing vibrant expression to communities—from the streets of the UK to the heart of India.

Recently, Molly has collaborated with us to create eight stunning artworks, each paired with a soap from our new Simplicity Line. These pieces—Release, Abundance, Glow, Bliss, Radiance, Herbal Harmony, Vrindavan, and Gaura—embody the essence of each soap, blending visual storytelling with holistic self-care.

In this blog post, we’ll explore Molly’s journey, her community-driven initiatives, her transformative work in India, and how her art enriches our Simplicity Collection.

Who is Molly Chambers?

Molly Chambers is a multidisciplinary artist, educator, and community facilitator based in the UK. Her work spans:

  • Large-scale murals that transform public spaces
  • Interactive workshops that empower people through creativity
  • Counter-cultural learning projects that explore art as a tool for social change

With a background in fine arts and education, Molly’s approach is deeply participatory—she doesn’t just create art for people; she creates with them, fostering connection and collective expression.

Art as a Community Tool

One of Molly’s core beliefs is that art should be for everyone. She has spearheaded numerous initiatives that bring creativity into public spaces, schools, and marginalized communities. Some highlights include:

1. Public Murals & Street Art

Molly’s murals are more than just beautiful—they’re conversation starters. Whether painting on urban walls or collaborating with local youth, her work often carries themes of nature, unity, and mindfulness.

2. Art Workshops for Empowerment

Molly has facilitated workshops that help people reconnect with their creativity. Her sessions often focus on:

  • Mixed media such as printmaking and collage
  • Low-tech photography techniques like cyanotype and pin-hole cameras
  • Design and technology lessons with primary school students building life-size geometric domes

3. The Counter Culture Learning Project (India)

Recently, Molly spent time in India, working on art projects that blend traditional craftsmanship with contemporary activism. Whilst travelling in India, Molly voluntarily contributed murals to local people and their businesses.

Molly’s Collaboration with Our Simplicity Line

When we envisioned our Simplicity Collection—a line of soaps designed to bring mindfulness, natural healing, and sensory joy—we knew we wanted art that spoke to the soul. That’s where Molly came in.

Each of our eight soaps is paired with an original artwork, creating a full sensory experience. Read more about each piece and its paired soap in the following blog posts!
